A bit about Shelby S

Hi, my name is Shelby! I was born and raised in Canada. I am a graduate of the Bachelor of Middle Years Education Program, meaning that I specialized in grades 4-9. I have a huge passion for education and working with children. I initially got into education as I struggled in school growing up, and I hoped to make a difference in children's lives so they would never have to struggle. My passion for education brought me overseas to London, England. Here I am currently a supply teacher. I enjoy playing Ringette, Softball, jogging, hiking or walking. I enjoy spending as much time outdoors or with my friends and family. My experience with children includes supply teaching, being an educational assistant, coaching Sport ball, managing a soccer summer camp and being an early childhood educator. I have worked with children ranging from one year old up to year 12 students!  I look at the student I am working with, and their learning type and go from there! The lessons are always built around the student. Bachelor of Education, specializing in years 4-9.
