A bit about Stephen W

I am a First class Biology Graduate from University of Leeds with 400+ hours of tutoring across all major English exam boards as well as in-person experience teaching GCSE/A-Level courses at a Field Studies centre. I specialise in Biology (up to University level) / Chemistry / Physics and Geography. I tutor to achieve high grades but also to drive enthusiasm and passionate for the subject! I achieved A* in Biology at both GCSE and A-Level and my dedication to the subject has only increased as I have studied it at Uni. I achieved an A in GCSE Chemistry, Physics, English Language and Geography. Having just graduated, I am still I am fully aware of how difficult grasping concepts and learning as a student can be! Students need concepts explained to them in a short and concise manner. I then encourage questions to be asked before setting questions and activities and working through problems with them. The ability of a student to explain concepts back to me is a keystone of them understanding these concepts. They should be able to do my job by the end of the session! I determine a students type of learning (e.g. visual, auditory, written) and tailor my lessons to their form of learning (e.g. providing visual demonstrations, written explanations etc.) I specialise in teaching Science and English. I studied Biology at university and teach it at all levels. I have over a years experience tutoring Biology, Chemistry and Physics across many different exams boards.
